About Me
Hi! My name is Marcela Pedron and I am currently a junior at Liberty High School. I am heavily focused in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Outside ISM, I am involved in volleyball, basketball, Best Buddies, ARK, FCA, Keyclub, and I am constantly volunteering in my community.
My background with courses such as Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Health Science have sparked my interest in the medical field, inspiring me to one day become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of ISM for the 2020-2021 school year and hope to further my education in medicine.
Mission Statement
Through this independent study, I aspire to pursue my passion in medicine, and retain knowledge by researching neonatology, hoping to one day become a neonatal nurse practitioner. This will allow me to build my foundation in the medical field and gain more resources to achieve my goal. Being guided by a mentor will aid me towards making my dream become a reality. I will commit to my research while demonstrating passion, integrity, respect and work ethic to begin my career path.
