New Semester 1/11/2021

This semester, I want to dedicate my research to a broader topic. I was still thinking about what I would want to do for my final product. I had a chance to meet with my mentor, Ms. Paulina Mormon and we talked about what my final product could be, which sparked a lot of questions that I was ready to research about. I began brainstorming my goals for what I want the second semester to look like for ISM. With that came doing my research and projects early, dedicating a lot of time into my final product, and learning as much as I can via Zoom from Ms. Paulina Mormon. Although I cannot go shadow my mentor because of COVID, I can still learn a lot. I want this semester to really help me decide if this is the career path I want to take. I don’t want to go through the motions or do things just to turn it in; Instead, I want to self reflect and learn more about the babies in the NICU. I am excited to start the second semester with goals and a mentor! I have already begun to research and watch videos, so I look forward to what’s to come in the future.
